Jana "Irene"  Handley

Was born Sept. 4, 1937 in Hayti, MO to Christopher Columbus Crumley and Carrie Mae Nelson. She passed away on July 29, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital- Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 25 days.

Preceding her in death were her parents: Carrie Mae Nelson and Christopher Columbus Crumley, her husbands; Robert Penrod and William Walter Joseph Handley, one son, Steven F. Penrod, Dec. 17, 1993, 5 brothers; Eugene, Elmer, Huey, Howard & Dallas Crumley.

She was of Baptist faith, she loved shopping, working in her yard and in earlier years doing crafts, but her biggest joys came from visiting her family.

She leaves to cherish her many memories her daughter; Kaye and her husband Gary McMullin of

O'fallon, MO, one son; Robert and his wife Janice Penrod of North Carolina, her sisters; Christine

Brooks of Kennett, MO, Leora Curtis of Wardell, MO, Opal Hardesty of Spencer, IN, 6 Grandchildren; Madison, Christopher & Jimmy McMullin, Chris, Kevin & Matthew Penrod, 5 great- grandchildren, Cadence, Addison, Andrew, Jace, Emery Penrod and a host of many other relatives and friends.
