Irene Pauline Gee

Irene was born on March 24, 1929 in Carlyle, Illinois to the late Bernard T.  and Anna Marie (Rohr) Schomaker.

She passed away at her home in Jackson, Missouri on January 15, 2024 at the age of 94 years, nine months, and 22 days.  She was united in marriage to Robert Paul (Bob) Gee in Marion, Illinois on November 25, 1950. She is predeceased by her husband, Bob, her son, Bobby and daughter-in-law Emily Gee, sister, Marianne Haukupt, and brother, Vincent Schomaker.

Irene lived for the last 69 years in Portageville, a full participating partner with her husband in the family farm. She graduated from Carlyle High School with honors.

Those who will keep her memory in our hearts are her daughter, Cynthia Gee (Jim) Wine, grandchildren, Erin Gee Jeffries, Andrew (Deanna) Wine, and Sarah Gee (Adam) Graddy, her beloved and adored great grandchildren, Connor Jeffries, Carter Wine, Brayden Jeffries, Hayden, Graddy, Tripp Wine, and Reagan Graddy.   She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
