Imogene Clark

W as born Sept. 8, 1926 in Caruthersville, MO to Maudie Hawkins & Clarence Rogers. She passed away on Monday; Dec. 21, 2020 at her residence in Portageville, MO at the age of 94 years, 3 months and 13 days.

S he was united in marriage to the love of her life on  May 31, 1946 in Portageville, Missouri to Comedora Nelson Clark, they were married for over 73 years,  he preceded her in death Oct. 3, 2019 also preceding her was her parents, Maudie Hawkins and Clarence Rogers, and her brother, William Rogers.

I mogene was manager at Hillsbrothers Shoe Store in Peoria, she sang and yodeled, wrote poems and songs.  She was an extraordinary artist, she painted on everything from murals on the walls to small pieces of milk glass.  Imogene help her husband (Comedora) build their house outside of Peoria where they raised their family.  She was a brick layer, pig raiser and was as fast as a tornado, but her biggest  accomplishments were her children, she loved her family time, when her house was full and the love that she had for her grandchildren was endless.

Fort Myers, Florida, her brother, Michael Rogers of Steele Alabama, her sisters, Maureen Anderson of Cape Girardeau,

MO, Polly Ward of Gainsville, Florida, 25 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and a

host of many other relatives and friends
