Ila Tribble was born to Gilbert James Tribble and Velva Marie (Black) Tribble on July 10, 1947, a hot summer day, in Portageville, MO.  She passed from this life at her home in Portageville on June 3, 2023, at the age of 75.

When Ila was younger, she babysat many of her nieces and nephews and even many of her great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a longtime member of the Pentecost faith and enjoyed singing in the church, teaching Sunday school, and helping with nursing home services. When she became older and home bound, she enjoyed watching church services and reading on her iPad. She also enjoyed her visits from family members, visiting nurses, and caregivers, Teressa Campbell and Tammie Smith.

Ila is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Edward (Eddie) Tribble; and one sister, Barbara (Tribble) Eagle; brothers-in-law Lloyd Robbins and Danny Eagle; sister-in-law Diane (Henson) Tribble; one nephew Randy Robbins; and great-nephews Tyrone Fowler, Joshua Davis, and King Tribble.

She is survived by her brothers Gilbert Wayne Tribble of Dallas, TX, and Gregory  (Donna) Tribble of Portageville, MO; sisters Shelbia Robbins of Kennett, MO; Geraldine (Vernon) Purser of Senath, MO; Bona (Don) Harris of Portageville, MO; and sister-in-law Judy Tribble of Holcomb, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
