Herman Robert Clark

July 20, 1929 - June 16, 2026

Reunited with his family in heaven.

Herman was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Mary Jane(Mickey) Clark and is is survived by his five children: Jane (Jerry) Lesyna of Patton, MO, Becky (Mike) Trehy of Patton, MO, Mark (Celeste) Clark of Patton, MO, Michael (Teresa) Clark of Millersville, MO, Matthew Clark of Benton. Two grandsons; Joe (Amber) Clark of Sikeston, Tim (Marie) Trehy of St. Louis.  Six (soon to be seven )great- grandchildren; Aedan, Lizzie, Hunter and Stetson Clark of Sikeston and Otis, Connie and (baby due in August) Trehy of St. Louis.

Herman was the youngest son of Chapter and Bertie Clark  of Portageville, Mo.  He is survived by his younger sister Vera Lee Thatcher of Ava Mo.

He was preceded in death by four siblings, Raymond Clark, Carmel Ludwig, Gladys Young and Commodore Clark.

Herman was a proud veteran of the Korean War, where he served as an MP during the peace talks and was an active member of the Sikeston VFW for many years.

Herman retired from Southwestern Bell in 1989 with 39 years of service. He started in Portageville, Mo, transferred to Mexico Mo, Knob Noster, Sedalia and moved to Sikeston Mo in 1968 where he stayed until retirement.

We would like to thank Crown Hospice for their care over the last few months and Dad's extra special helpers: Kaye, Angela and Audra

for their patience and the love they showed for him.  We are forever grateful.
