Herbert Lee Tanner Was born May 2, 1932 in Barnes Ridge, Missouri to Grace Tanner and Henry Tanner he died Thurs. Jan. 31, 2013 at Methodist North Hospital, Memphis, TN at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 29 days. He was united in marriage to Helen Kellams Tanner in Portageville, MO, 1950 Preceding him in death were his parents Grace Tanner & Henry Tanner, one son, Jacque Kellams Tanner, June 20, 2003. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Memphis and loved spending time with family & his pets. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife; Helen Tanner of Germantown, TN, daughters, Karla Kay Harrison of Nashville, TN, Joyanna Woods of Memphis, TN, Kelley Carol Harris of Bation Rouge, LA, sisters; Margie Riddick - Portageville, MO, 14 Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren and a host many other relatives and friends. Services were conducted Saturday, February 02, 2013 at 10:00A.M. at the Portageville Cemetery with Wally Kellams officiating.
