Herbert Brown

M r. Herbert Brown was born February 26, 1939 to late Harmon Brown Sr. and late Elnora Brown both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Bessie Lee Brown, Remal Hill, Corine Brown and three sons, Herbert Weakly, Charles Brown, Herman Brown, tow daughters, Linda Weakly and Brenda Weakly

H e gave his life to God. He was Baptize by Elder Nathaniel Green and the late Elder O.C. Cooper at the old Green Memorial In order to provide for his family he held various employment, EBG, Portageville Compress, Plastine, Farming and construction as opportunities were presented.

H e was united to holy matrimony on July 8, 1965 to his love Mother Maxine Brown, who preceded him in death.  On January 31, 2020, God dispatched his heavenly angels to bring back his soul to him at the age of 80 years. Cherishing his memories are four sons: James Brown of Portageville, MO, Roderick Brown(Lakadra) of New Madrid, MO, Harvey Brown(Karen) of Howardsville, MO; three daughters; Elnora Taylor Watie (Demeyon), Stephanie Hopkins (Antonio) of Springfield MO and Starlett Brown (Preston) of Cape Girardeau, MO; one brother; Hermon Brown Jr. of Benton Harbor Michigan, aunt by marriage, aunt Dorothy Brewer of Portageville, Mo, 34 grandchildren, 85 great grandchildren, 5 great - great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
