Helen Marie (Wilkins) Slough was born September 15, 1936 in Colt, AR to Clyde Edward and Lola Mae (Littles) Wilkins. She died Friday, December 12, 2014 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, MO at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 27 days. She was united in marriage February 9, 1974 to Donald Ford Slough in New Madrid, MO. He survives of the home in Portageville. Preceding Helen Marie (Wilkins) Slough in death were: her parents, Clyde Edward and Lola Mae (Littles) Wilkins, one brother, Clyde Edward Wilkins, Jr. and four sisters: Margaret Turner, Pauline Payne, Jackline Milton and Marjorie Ramsey, and a stepdaughter, Donna Ivey. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith belonging to the Word of Victory Church. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Donald Ford Slough of Portageville, MO; 4 sons: Eddie C.(Keith) Allen of Austin, TX and Brian Keith (Tammy) Allen, Michael L. (Marianne) Allen and Darian Edward (Candace) Allen, all of Portageville, MO; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
