Harold Edgar Was born December 20, 1927 in Hayward, MO to Nora King Edgar and Tom Edgar. He died Tuesday March 9, 2010 at Marston, MO at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 20 days. He was united in marriage to Mary Lou Canady who preceded him in death on December 18, 1995. Also preceding him in death were his parents, Nora King Edgar & Tom Edgar; 3 brothers: Floyd, Jewel & Clarence and 1 sister Dorothy Poe. He leaves to cherish his memories his sons: Harold (Nancy) Edgar of Portageville MO & Billy (Beverly) Edgar of Marston MO; 1 daughter, Louise Edgar of Marston, MO; 1 sister, Opal Matheny of Rockford, IL; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday March 14, 2010 at DeLisle Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bob Kespelher officiating. Pallbearers were: Dusty Edgar, Wesley Creasy, Rodney Edgar and Brian Davis. Interment followed in Portageville Cemetery with DeLisle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
