Willis "Greg" Day was born on July 10, 1960 in Chicago, IL. to the late Vera Marie (Hobbs) Day & Cecil Christopher Day. He passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Mercy South, St. Louis MO, at the age of 64.

Greg was united in marriage November 14, 1981 in Portageville to the love of his life, Carol Sue (Parker) Day, she preceded him in death July 09, 2018.

Also preceding him in death was his parents, Vera Marie (Hobbs) Day and Cecil Christopher Day, also preceding him in death was his brother, Jerry Day and one sister, Carol Williams.

Greg loved being outdoors, especially if he was deer hunting, he was a faithful member of the Church of God in Portageville where he was the Sound Technician, Board Member, Mission Chair.

He leaves to mourn his passing his sons, Noah (Kimberly) Day of Dexter, MO, James (Ashley) Day of Kennett, MO and Van Parker of Sikeston, MO, his brother, Don (Cindy) Day of Portageville, MO, two grandsons, Alexander & Daniel Dickerson and a host of many other relatives , church family and friends
