Glen Dwight Bryant, 84 of Portageville passed away March 18, 2015 at the Portageville Nursing Home. Born May 20, 1930 in Green County, AR to the late Harvey and Ruby Cameron Bryant. In 1951 he joined the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War from 1952-1953. He was honorably discharged from the air force reserves in 1955. Dwight was employed by Rone Chevrolet, Noranda and Delta Auto Salvage. He Was a member of the Portageville Church of Christ. He preached part time at the New Madrid & Portageville Churches of Christ. He was a member of the Portageville Kiwanis Club and the City Park Board. On June 12, 1952 in Piggott, AR he married Marlene Brown, she survives of the home. Dwight is survived by his wife Marlene Brown, one son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Melissa Bryant of Columbia, TN. One daughter and son-in-law, Marla and Steve Lambert of Sikeston, MO. Five grandchildren, Andrew Lambert and Fiance' Rebecca Smoot of Cape Girardeau, MO, Abby Lambert of Jackson, MO, Zachary Bryant of Murfreesboro, TN and Kegan Bryant of Knoxville, TN, three brothers, Charles Bryant of Maryville, TN, Wesley Bryant of Tyrone, GA, Johnny Bryant of Paragould, AR and one sister, Sherry Montgomery of Hot Springs, AR and a host of many other relatives and friends.
