Gilbert "Dewey" Bonee

W as born August 15, 1920 in Savannah, Tennessee to the late Noah Bonee and Sarah Gray Bonee. He passed on Friday July 28, 2017 at Point pleasant, Mo at the age of 96 years eleven months and thirteen days.

P receding him in death were his parents, Sarah Gray Bonee and Noah Bonee. He was united in marriage on June 3, 1942 in Corinth, MS to Ethel Carroll , she preceded him in death on May 21, 2002.Also preceding him in death were two sons, Johnny Bonee, J.C. Bonee and three daughters, Marie Champion, Anna Sills and Wanda Little.. He loved spending time around his family and telling stories of the early years.

H e leaves to cherish his many memories; two sons, Gene Bonee of Ragan TN, Ray Bonee of Portageville, MO, five daughters; Doris Brown of Charleston, MS, Kathy Miller of Point Pleasant, Mo, Ruth Bonee and Brenda Bonee both of Portageville, Mo. 38 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends .
