Gertie Mae McPeck Nowell Was born January 10, 1920 in Bearden, Arkansas to Wade McPeck and Vina Campbell McPeak. She died Thursday October 1, 2015 at Pemiscot Memorial Health System, Hayti, Mo at the age of 95 years 8 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage, to Dock Marshall Nowell on January 12, 1935 in Caruthersville, MO 11 children were born, he preceded her in death on June 17, 1970, also preceded her in death were her parents, Vina Campbell McPeak & Wade McPeck. Brothers Jasper McPeak, Samual McPeak, Albert Mason, Lee Mason, J.C. McPeak, Rufus McPeak, E.L. McPeak and Sisters Nola Mason, Nellie Arnella Mason and Allie Bell McPeak. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Keenager and taught Sunday School Class for many years, She loved being around family and sewing. She leaves to cherish memories, Her Three sons; Wade Douglas Nowell, Dwight Marshall Nowell Roger Dale Nowell. Eight Daughters, Patricia June Davidson, Pasty Mae Roberts, Bobbie Mariditha Goodman Searles, Vonnie Lee Snelling, Alinda Sue Frame, Tonya Faye Swims, Peggy Jo Nowell, Theresa Ann Walker Lemmer Brock Thirty-Nine Grandchildren, Seventy-Three Great Grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
