Georgia D. Estes Was born July 2, 1921 in New Madrid, MO to Walter and Margaret (Simpson) Dalton. She died August 11,, 2015 at her residence in Lilbourn at the age of 94. Years 1 Month and 9 days She served in the United States Navy from 1942 -1945 & was a Charter member of the Lilbourn VFW Post 7183 and a member of the Ladies Axillary and was a graduate of Lilbourn High School Class of 1939. She was united in marriage, to Russell Eric Estes on September 14, 1945 at Manhattan Towers Chapel in New York City he proceeded her in death on October 29, 2008 also proceeding her were parents, Margaret (Simpson) Dalton & Walter Dalton. Two brothers Alvin Dalton & Thomas Dalton and one grandchild Christopher Wescoat She leaves to cherish her memories her son; Mike (Shirley) Estes of Lilbourn, MO, two daughters; Kim (Timothy) Hunter of New Madrid, MO & Kay (Bill) Wescoat Sr. of Matthews MO, one brother; William Dalton of Tiptonville, TN, seven grandchildren; Griff Estes of Lilbourn, MO, Lee & Traci Wescoat of Matthews, MO, Russ & Natalie Wescoat of New Madrid, MO, Joseph, Jeffrey, and Samantha Hunter of New Madrid, MO, and Sarah Wescoat of Matthews, MO, five Great Grandchildren; Emma and Ella Wescoat, Lauren and Lane Wescoat and Molly Ruth Hunter and her loving caregivers; Lila Tanner, Pat Weaks and Wanda York and a host of many other relatives and friends.
