George T. Ward Passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Portageville Nursing Home, following a lengthy Illness. George Ward was born September 3, 1935 in Portageville to Nora A Merritt and Aaron Briggs Ward. He died on Sunday April 26, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Aaron Briggs Ward Jr, Bobby Ward and Billy Ward. Three sisters Peggy Ward, Doris Ward Warren, and Barbara Ward Kelly. George lived in Portageville most of his life and was a well-known member of the community. He enriched the lives of those with whom he visited as he traveled around town daily. George Leaves to cherish his memories his sister, Ruth Ward Jones, Six Nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.
