Gene H. Goodman Was born November 8, 1930 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Fardial Johnson Goodman and Herman Goodman he died Thurs. Nov. 17, 2011 at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems-Hayti, MO at the age of 81 years, and 9 days. He was united in marriage to Rebecca (Durbin) on November 24, 1978 in Hayward, Mo she survives of the home. Preceding him in death, were his parents, Fardial Johnson Goodman & Herman Goodman; One son, Derik Eugene Goodman, Sept. 9, 1997. 3 brothers; Howard, Raymon and Herman Goodman, two sisters Ivern O'Neal and Pat Martin. He retired from the EBG Corporation as a heavy equipment operator, Love to fish, play pool and family. He served as a Veteran of the US Army during the Korean war He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife; Rebecca Goodman of Portageville, MO, Two Sons: Richard Michael Goodman of Dothan, Al, and Bradley Lance Goodman of Portageville, MO. One daughter; Rebecca M. Ellis of Portageville, MO, and one sister Alous Rose of Pocahontas, Arkansas. Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a host many other relatives and friends.
