Gean "Geanie" Rone Simpson

W as born July 22, 1956 in Cape Girardeau, Mo to Donald Dell Rone Sr. and Marium Bethel Girvin Rone. She passed away on Tuesday January 16, 2018 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, MO at the age of 61 years 5 months and 25 days.

P roceeding her in death were her parents: Marium Bethel Girvin Rone and Donald Dell Rone Sr. On August 16, 1974, in Stuttgart Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Johnny Simpson, he survives of the home. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and also United Methodist Women group. Geanie loved being with her family, watching the girls' softball games and going to the Norfork Lake

S he leaves to cherish her many memories; her husband of 43 years Johnny Simpson of Portageville, MO, her two daughters and son-in-laws: Jessica (Joseph) Hawkins of Malden, MO and Amy (David) Dickinson of Advance, MO, one adopted son and his wife; Kyle (Shara) Tatam of Perth, Australia, three brothers and sister-in-laws; Donald "Don" (Myra) Rone Jr., Michael "Mike" (Mary) Rone and George "Lewis" (Martha) Rone all of Portageville, MO, one step-Uncle Thomas "Jake" (Shelly) Fisher of Portageville, MO, three step- grandchildren; Madison and Averie Dickinson of Jonesboro, IL and Blake Hawkins of Poplar Bluff, MO and a host of many other relatives and friends.
