Gayla S. Stephens

W as born December 16, 1956 at Hayti Memorial Hospital at  Hayti, Mo . Her beloved grandparents, Henry A Penrod and Mary Arlie Richardson Penrod brought her home from the hospital and raised her, Sammy and LaJeanna. They always took care of family. She died Sunday January 10, 2021 at Portageville MO with David M Drerup by her side along with the rest of her loving family.

She was a proud 1975 graduate of Portageville High School. Worked at Noranda Feb 7, 1977 until early retirement in 2013. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville, Mo.

S he leaves to cherish her memories, special partner David M. Drerup. Brothers Sammy A, Stephens, wife Dr. Barbara A. Stephens, PA. Richard S. Stephens, wife Karen Stephens, SC. Wm "Bill Jr" Stephens, PA and Art Weeks, Il. Sisters LaJeanna Finley husband and best Brother-in-Law James Finley of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, Victoria L. Stephens Collins, husband Koma Collins of Florida. Stacee Kraig Mosier, SC, Jill Baer, husband Don, Aimes Pattison, PA and all her cousins, nieces, nephews.

Step-children Melissa A. Wimberly and Lecia A. Varnadore. Grandchildren Macey S. Koller, Taylor M. Koller with Jason Jones, Zachary and Justin Wimberly. Great-grandchildren Clara, Jessica, Jayden and LJ Vires. Jace Alexander and Astella Marie Jones and Reneelynn Wimberly.
