Gary Don Mattingly

W as born November 19, 1948 in Conran, MO to Gareth Don Mattingly and Vonrey Pardon Mattingly. He passed away on Friday February 09, 2018 at his home in Conran, MO at the age of 69 years 2 months and 21 days.

P receding him in death were his parents, Don & Vonrey Mattingly and grandparents, Guy & Nancy Mattingly, Will & Altie Pardon, step-grandmother, Hazel Pardon and his aunt & uncle Zelpha & Maynard Presley.

H e was a graduate of Portageville High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. He was a member of the St. Eustachius Catholic Church in Portageville .

H e worked many years at Associated Electric as lab technician and SRG Global as a lab and quality control technician. Gary Don had a lifelong love of reading and learning. He also had a deep appreciation for music and spent much of his free time listening to the songs he loved. He was an avid hunter and loved training dogs.

G ary Don is survived by two sons, Jason (Michele) Mattingly of Frisco, TX and Shea Mattingly of Sikeston, MO, four grandchildren; Aidan, Ava, Evan & Ella all of Frisco, TX, his beloved brother, Terry Mattingly of Portageville, MO, his aunt & uncle Duard & Peck Mattingly, his niece, Cindy (Greg & Avery) Beason of Bowling Green, KY, Nephew Eric Mattingly of Louisville, KY, two special cousins; Mary Angela Hayes of New Madrid, MO and Sherry Hampton of Portageville, MO and a host of many other relatives and friends.
