Fred Albert Harmon Jr Was born August 21, 1924 in Lamar, Arkansas to Alberta Bradley Harmon and Fred Albert Harmon Sr. He died Monday January 5, 2009 at his Home, Portageville, Mo at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 15 days. He was united in marriage to Thelma Lucille Owens on June 14, 1944 in Benton, Mo she survives of the home Preceding him in death, were his parents, Alberta Bradley Harmon & Fred Albert Harmon Sr.; One Son Steve Harmon and one grandson Christopher Hall and Two sisters Hazel Anthony and Mary Gentry. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville, and was retired from University of Mo Delta Center and Noranda Aluminum. Was a Veteran of WWII serving in the Army & Air Force where he served in the Philippines He leaves to cherish his memories; His wife of 64 years Thelma of the home. His Son & daughter- in- law Stan ( Joan) Harmon of Aiken, S.C. His Daughter-in-law, Lisa (Harmon) Beasley of Brandon, MS One Brother, Bob (Earnestine) Harmon of Gile Bend, Az Two Sisters: Imogene Uptain of Concord, Ca, Josephine Tate of Oran MO Three Grand Children, Brad (Ashley) Harmon & Sarah Adams both of Aiken S.C. Grant Hall of Brandon, Ms. One great-grandson, Steven Cole Harmon of Aiken, S.C. and a host many other relatives and friends.
