Eugene E. Benthal

W as born October 18, 1934 in New Madrid, MO to Jack Benthal and Violet Morgan Benthal. He passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Portageville Nursing Center at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 3 days.

P roceeding him in death were his parents: Violet Morgan Benthal and Jack Benthal, his first wife Imogene Benthal on December 16, 1997, one son: Jerry Benthal in 2000, one daughter Deborah Jean Danels in 2017 & one brother: Charlie Benthal.

O n January 1, 1999 in New Madrid he was united in marriage to Ruth Davis Benthal, she survives of the home. He was retired from Noranda Aluminum Company and a member of the River Bend Pentecostal Church of New Madrid.  He loved listening to music and picking his guitar.

H e leaves to cherish his memories his wife,   Ruth Davis Benthal of New Madrid, MO,  sons: Donney (Sharon) Benthal ,James (Cheryl) Benthal both of Portageville, MO, his brothers, W.J. Benthal of Bourbon, MO, Wayne Benthal of St. Louis, MO, sister, Carolyn Bolt of Eureka, MO, 9 grandchildren,  Donney Benthal, Kristi Crafton, Charles Danels, Christopher Danels, Emily & Kelsey Ward, Brooklyn Kaden & Kerri Benthal, 9  great-grandchildren, Macey, Mallory, Meridyth, Trey, Thomas, Charish, Chris Jr., Cayden & Colten,  2 Great-Great Grandchildren, Bentley & Skylar and a host of many other relatives, church family and friends.
