Esther Cook Huffman

W as born May 10, 1932 in Haleyville, AL to John Vinyard McDonald and Annie McDonald. She died Friday January 13, 2017 at Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau,MO at the age of 84 years, 7  months and 3 days.

S he was united in Marriage to J.L Cook who proceeded her in death in 1985. She later married James Huffman who proceeded her in death,  also preceding her in death were her parents; Annie McDonald and John Vinyard McDonald, one daughter: JoAnne Weed on November 8, 1991, four brothers: William "Bill" McDonald,  Clarence McDonald, J.V. McDonald and Jess McDonald, and three sisters: Bonnie McCarter, Mildred Street and Nancy Kelly. She attented the Bush Apostolic Church in Hayward, she enjoyed played bingo and spending time with her family.

S he leaves to cherish her memories; two sons: Lonnie Wayne (Linda) Cook of Hayti, MO and Danny Paul Cook of Portageville, MO. three daughters: Loretta Cook of Portageville, MO, Peggy (Larry) Lacey of Cape Girardeau, MO and Janice Cook of Portageville, MO one sister: Lola Brown of Portageville, MO, 10 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren and six great grant children, and a host of many other relatives and friends.
