Icie "Ermine" (Keith) Simpson

W as born August 31, 1924 in Scrub Ridge, Missouri to Robert Keith and Bennie (Wrather) Keith. She passed away on Thursday, February 08, 2018 at her home in Lilbourn, MO at the age of 93 years, 5 months & 8 days.

P receding her in death were her parents: Bennie (Wrather) Keith and Albert Robert Keith, her husband Welton Arnold Simpson, two brothers; L.C. Keith and Verble Keith and one sister, Mary Emma Meatte. She was united in marriage on August 16, 1971 in Lilbourn, MO to Welton Arnold Simpson, he preceded her in death in 2008. She was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Lilbourn and was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

S he leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Brenda Tomlin of Haleyville, Al, one step-daughter: Sharon Livingston and one step-son: Tony Simpson both of Memphis, TN, eight grandchildren: Kevin Paul Tomlin, Courtney Ann Tomlin Maclin, Paige Bingham, Jeff Livingston, Dana Scaife, Gina Cici, Misty Hall and Cary Simpson, and numerous great-grandchildren, a special nephew, David Keith of Memphis, TN and special friend, Christy Ferguson of Marston, MO and a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
