Elnolia Buchanan Was born April 22, 1930 in Mississippi to Kissie Driver and Willie Mitchell. She died March 27, 2010 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 6 days. She was united in marriage to Andrew Lee Buchanan who preceded her in death August 13, 1978. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Kissie Driver & Willie Mitchell and 6 brothers and sisters. She was a faithful member of New Bethel Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling to visit family, friends and seeing new places. She also took great pleasure in sewing, cooking, singing and most of all praising the Lord. She leaves to cherish her memories her sons: Bobby (Shirley) Buchanan of Temple Hills, Maryland & Anthony (Glenda) Buchanan of Chicago, IL; 3 daughters: Barbara Hall of Portageville, MO, Andrea (Cleon) Carson of Kansas City, MO & Julia Buchanan of Portageville, MO; 1 sister, Josephine Grigsby of Kalamazoo, MI; 1 brother, Willie Lee Mitchell of Memphis, TN; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
