Ellen Martin

Was born on June 7, 1949, in Butler County, MO to the late Elizabeth  Dildine Akridge and Wilburn Akridge.  She passed away Tuesday October 3, 2023 in Poplar Bluff, Mo at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 26 days.

Preceding her in death were her parents Pearline and Wilburn Akridge, two grandchildren, Katelin Norton & Martin Norton, and her sisters; Patricia Hardcastle, Rebecca Waller, Elizabeth Akridge and one brother, Dewayne Akridge.

Mrs. Martin liked reading and sewing but most of all being with her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories her 4 daughters: Susan Yeargain of Pennsylvania ,  Melissa Kelly of Wichita, Kansas, Margaret Martin of Jackson, MO, Lorrie Kern of Gideon, MO, 2 Brothers; John Luke Akridge of Wappapello, MO, David Akridge of Humboldt, TN, 3 sisters; Marie Waller of Gideon, MO. Karen Brown and  Rhonda Akridge both of Clarkton MO, 10 Grandchildren; Patrick Norton, Justin Norton, Kathrine Yeargain, Seth Yeargain, Dale Yeargain, Jerry Martin II, Chelsea Martin, Tristen Martin, Joshua Kelly, Jacob Kelly and a host of many other relatives and friends.
