Edith Mae Jenkins Babb

Was born on Feb. 17, 1937 in Bell City, MO to the late Elbert Jenkins and Gladys Hichkerson Jenkins.  She passed away on Sunday , Oct 30, 2022 in  Cape Girardeau, MO at the of 85 years, 8 months and 3 days.

She was united in marriage in Paducah, KY to Gerald Lee Babb on May 3, 1977.  He preceded her in death April 19, 2022.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Elbert and Gladys Jenkins; her brother, Carl Jenkins; and her sister, Lena Freeman.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Sue Ellen (Mike) Flynn of Portageville, MO, and her son Michael (Julie) Mills of Elkland, MO. Four granddaughters, Sherry Dawn (Patrick) Markham of Plano, TX.  Tiffany (Ray) Staffey of Portageville, MO Autumn (Jeremy) Allgood of Kennett, MO, Rachel Flynn of Portageville, MO, Kaitlyn Mills of Stillwater, Ok.  Seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Private family graveside services will be held in the future.
