Eddie Carl Fitzgerald

W as born on November 20, 1968 in Hayti, MO to the late John H. Williams and Alene Gill Fitzgerald at the age of 54 years and 21 days.

He was called home on December 11, 2022 at the Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Eddie was a graduate of Portageville High School in 1987. He worked as a brick layer with Terry Phillips and enjoyed listening to music and playing various video games.  He also had many talents which included working on computers.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alene Fitzgerald, his father, John H. Williams, his step-father, George Fitzgerald, 3 brothers; Emanuel Gill, John Wesley-Fitzerald and Alphonzo Fitzgerald, 2 sisters, Jacklyn Fitzgerald and Clarissa Fitzgerald.

He leaves to cherish his memories, 4 sons, Christopher Demonte Wright of Cape Girardeau, MO Qualandriaun Fitzgerald of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Montreal Fitzgerald of Sikeston, MO, Christian B. Fitzgerald of Caruthersville, MO,  4 grandchildren, 4 sisters, Mary Alice Gill of Cape Girardeau, MO. Luevenia Fitzgerald and Joyce Ann Greene of Portageville, MO and Flora Fitzgerald of Lincoln, Nebraska, 6 brothers, Robert Fitzgerald, Jr. of Sikeston, MO, George Fitzgerald Jr. (Latanya) of Los Angeles, CA, Jerome Fitzgerald of Cailfornia, Bobby Jo Fitzgerald of Kansas City  and 1 Aunt, Martha Grady and a host of nephews and nieces and cousins and friends.
