Doyle Cronan was born June 18, 1947 in Portageville, Missouri to Edna Mae Davis and Bob Kyle Cronan. He passed away on May 25, 2011 at his home in Concord, Missouri at the age of 63 years, 11 months and 7 days. He was united in marriage to Bettie Ruth Bell of Hayti, Missouri on March 25, 1971. From this union, a son, Doyle Kyle Cronan was born. Doyle also was the proud second father to, Linda kay Ritcheson (Butler), Sara Elizabeth Ritcheson (Young) and Robert Lee Ritcheson. Doyle was someone who loved to help people. In additon to being employed at the University of Missouri Delta Center for over 30 years, he also served 20 plus years in the Missouri National Guard, The United States Army in Vietnam and Operation Desert Storm, The U.S. Department of Commerce and the United States of America with numerous commendations. Preceding him death were his father, Bob Kyle Cronan and one brother, Walter Scott.
