Dorothy Minvera Ward

W as born March 17, 1926 in Hayti, MO to Lloyd Mullins and Chesteen Anderson Mullins. She passed away on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at Gideon Care Center Gideon, MO at the age of 92.

P receding her in death were: her parents, Lloyd and Chesteen (Anderson) Mullins, four brothers and one sister. She was united in marriage to Billie Ward on November 15, 1947. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1986. Dorothy earned another name the "Tootsie Roll Lady" for she could be seen at as many Portageville sporting events as she could attend passing them out she was at. When she was not at a Portageville ball game, she was usually making her rounds about town. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals and was of Methodist Faith

S he leaves to cherish her memories her Daughter: Teresa Brasher of Portageville, MO, one son: David Ward of San Tan Valley, AZ, five grandchildren: David Ward Jr, Matthew "Matt" (Morgan) Brasher, Kim Johnson, Jenny (John) Dubois and Sarah Beth (Quinton) Williams, seven great grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
