Born on December 20, 1947, in Gideon, Missouri, he was the son of the late Mary Boulser Boyet and Raymond Clyde Boyet.
Donnie was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved to fish, hunt, and tinker with his truck. Known for his generous spirit and skilled hands, he could fix anything — from the neighborhood children's bicycles to whatever a friend or family member brought his way. Above all, Donnie cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and happiness.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenny Boyet; and his sister, Katherine Pearson.
Donnie is survived by his children: Donnie Ray Boyet Jr. and wife Wendy of Campbell, MO; Tina Wheatley of Kennett, MO; Jennifer Hill of Parma, MO; and Tammy McClendon of Campbell, Missouri and Pamela Morrow/Bing and husband Robert of Munford, TN. He is also survived by his brother, Clyde Boyet and wife Jane of St. Louis, MO; and sisters, Bonnie Abney of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Judy Bader of Campbell, MO. Special friend LD Ryans of Portageville, Mo.
He leaves behind 13 beloved grandchildren — Zachary Collins, Shannon Collins, Destiny Price, Tabitha Wheatley, Ashley Carter, Joshua Boyet, Caleb Boyet, Kye Boyet, Brandon Morrow, Dylan Morrow, Blake Boyet, Chase Hill, and Aiden Hill — as well as 9 great-grandchildren who will carry his memory forward.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 12:00 noon at DeLisle Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at DeLisle Funeral Home, with interment at Portageville Cemetery.
