Donald F. Underwood Was born Jan. 8, 1938 in Cushion Lake, MO to Elsie (Smith) Underwood and Ansel Underwood. He died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at his home in Portageville, MO at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 20 days. He was united in marriage to Wanda (Stafford) Underwood on March 15, 1957 in Hernando, MS, she survives of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie (Smith) & Ansel Underwood & one brother, Ronnie Underwood. He was a member of the First Church of God in Portageville where he served formally as a trustee and was on the Building Committee. He was a very prominent farmer in Southeast Missouri and served on the St. Francis Levee Board for several years.
