Donald Ray "Don" Hartlein

W as born June 5, 1946 in Sikeston, MO to Dorothy (Houser) Hartlein and Gordan (G.W.) Hartlein.  He passed away on Friday April 30, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau MO, at the age of 74 years.

P receding him in death was his parents, Dorothy (Houser) Hartlein, and Gordan (G.W.) Hartlein. On May 17, 1969 in Portageville, MO, he married the love of his life, Suzanne Robinson, she survives of the home. Don worked as the Safety Health & Environmental Manager for Nutrien until his retirement in 2018. He enjoyed turkey and deer hunting, wood working and gardening.  He was a true sports fan; he refereed many Portageville games. Don loved socializing, he never met a stranger, his family was everything to him. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville.

D on was a devoted husband  of 52 years, he leaves  to cherish his many memories his  wife ; Suzanne Hartlein of Portageville, MO , his son & daughter-in-law; Jeff & Stacy Hartlein of Russellville, AR , his daughter & son-in-law; Robin & Anthony Meadows of Sikeston, MO , three brothers; Kenny (Charlotte) of Floresville Texas , Jerry (Margie) Hartlein of Melbourne Florida , Larry (Nelda) Hartlein of Ft. White, Florida , four grandchildren; Kaden and Kolby Meadows, Evan  and Madison Hartlein and a host of many other relatives and friends
