Donald Wesley Ferguson was born October 28, 1943 in Dice Colony, AR to Lillie Lucille (Martin) Ferguson of Marston and the late James W. Ferguson. He died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at his home in Marston, MO at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 7 days. He was united in marriage November 25, 1972 to Linda Sue Lindsey in Marston, MO. She preceded him in death September 1, 2010. Also preceding him in death was his father, James Wesley Ferguson, two daughters, Donna Kay Poley and Dana Trimmer and a sister, Betty Britt. He was on the Fire Department for 40 years, the police department and a member of the New Madrid County Alert Team. He also served as an alderman for the city of Marston. He attended Boekerton Baptist Church. He was employed by St. Jude IND Water Plant for 32 years before his retirement. He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Lucille Ferguson of Marston, MO; two daughters, Dawn and Brandy Ferguson, both of Marston, MO; Jack Brewer of Marston, MO who he considered a son; brother and sister-in-law, James and Mary Ferguson of Marston, MO; brother-in-law, David Lindsey of Cape Girardeau, MO; two grandchildren, Paige Ferguson and Eric Thompson, a special friend, Virginia Persful and a host of many other relatives and friends.
