Donald J. Boatwright

Was born June 1, 1928 in Portageville, MO to Mary (Zook) Boatwright & Dave Boatwright. He passed away on July 1, 2019 at Gideon Care Center-Gideon, MO at the age of 91.

He worked and Loved (LRDD) Little River Drainage District, serving as foreman, he worked from 1953-1996 (43) years, he loved sitting around with family telling stories. Mr. Boatwright served our country in the U.S. Army. In Piggott AR he married Mary Crafton, she preceded him in death in August 17, 1985

Preceding him in death was his parents; Mary (Zook) Boatwright and Dave Boatwright, also preceding him, one son, Donald Boatwright, March 4, 1995, one daughter, Pam Turley, July 2, 2012, his brothers, Lewis, William Henry, Cecil, & Steve Boatwright, his sisters, Anna Mae Glass & Lena Pool. His son-in-law, Steven Fisher, May 14, 2017.

He leaves to cherish his many memories, one son; William Boatwright of Wardell, MO, his daughters; Kathy(Shirley) Miller of Portageville, MO, Lena Baldwin of Wardell, MO, Patty Fisher of Portageville, MO, son-in-law, Kevin Turley of Portageville, MO, 12 grandchildren, Dustin(Amanda) Boatwright, Ashley (Joel) McCrary, Kevin (Mary) Miller, Tori (Damon) Crucani, Jeffery (Kim) Baldwin, Jessica (Leonard) Laws, Heather (Ron Allen) Kimes, Kyle (Amanda) Turley, Steven Fisher, Mary Hannah (Matt) Pierce, Trey (Elizabeth) Boatwright, Tyler Boatwright and 21 Glorious Great-Grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends
