Dolly McAlister Ruby, 92 of Russellville, AR, formerly of Portageville, MO, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, AR. The daughter of Alce and Annie Mae Ross McAlister, she was born August 26, 1920 in Booger Hollow AR. She was of the Baptist faith. Dolly enjoyed gardening and playing with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Henry Green; daughter, Leary "Mickey" Briggs and five siblings, Georgia Hardin, Florence Glover, Oliver McAlister, Arthur Lee McAlister and Bob McAlister. Survivors include one son, Bill Ruby & wife JoAnn of Sikeston, MO; one daughter, Brenda McCloud & husband Roger of Russellville, AR, nine grandchildren, Terry Ruby & wife Debbie, Lisa Angle & husband Randy, Dan Ruby & wife Sarah, John Ruby & wife Amanda, Angela Donnelly & husband Chris, Kevin McCloud & wife Tracy, Renae Taylor & husband Aaron; 23 Great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, one sister, Laura Westfall of Grandhaven, MI; two brothers, Ross McAlister of Flint, MI and Jack Berry of Grandhaven, MI and a host of many other relatives and friends.
