He was united in marriage to Pauline Kirk in Marston, MO on November 23, 1962 she survives of the home. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired farmer. Preceding him in death were his parents, Martha Meinz Cook & Henry C. Cook and his brother, Bill Cook. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Pauline Cook of Marston, MO; 3 brothers: Donald Cook of Canalo, MO, Earnest Cook of Granite City, IL & Jerry Cook of Alton, MO; 4 sisters: Bonnie Walls of J.Y., MO, Pat Copeland of Tally, MO, Panzie Hinklin of Marston, MO & Sheila Robertson, of Granite City, IL and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday March 3, 2008 at the DeLisle Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Townsend officiating. Pallbearers were: Billy Cunningham, Lance Walls, David "Bubba" Hinklin, Wayne Mims, Mervin Mims & Jerry Mims. Interment followed in Portageville Cemetery with DeLisle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
