Dewavon Dwight Morefield

Dewavon Dewight Morefield was born on November 18, 1946 in Portageville, MO. to the late Beatrice Sims Morefield & Everett Dewavon Morefield. He passed away on Friday May 20, 2022, at Memphis, Tenn at the age of 75.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Beatrice Sims Fox and Everett Dewavon Morefield Also preceding him was his stepfather, James Fox and his daughter; Lisa Marie Morefield. He was united in marriage in 1993 in Braggadocio, MO to Arlene Morefield, she survives of the home. Dewight was a Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He loved fishing and watching Nascar and just being outdoors.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his spouse: Arlene Morefield of Portageville, MO, his seven sons: Dwight David (Erica) Morefield of Dyersburg, TN, Bryan Dewavon Morefield, Shawn Lynn Chidester, Mark Allan Forrester, Michael Shane (Jackie) Forrester, Jeremy Wayd Morefield, Jason Neil Morefield all of Portageville, MO, two brothers: Gene (Mary) Morefield of Sikeston, MO, Dalton (Rosey) Morefield of Wynne AR, his sister: Anita (Blue) King of Dexter, MO, 17 grandchildren, 3 great children and a host of many other relatives and friends.
