Dennis Franklin Moody

Dennis Franklin Moody was born on Jan. 05, 1946 in Braggadocio, MO. to the late Opal Hutson & Edd M. Moody Sr.. He passed away on March 5, 2024 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, MO at the age of 78 years and 2 months.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Opal Hutson and Edd M. Moody Sr., also preceding him was his brothers, Charles and Ed Moody Jr. his sisters, Juanita Rone, Geri Hulshof and Etha Rae Downing.

He was united in marriage August 13, 1966 in Portageville to Anne Robertson.

Dennis loved hunting for just about anything that was in season, he also loved to fish, he lived to farm and work the land.  He owned and operated Spray Tech with his boys and made the business grow to what it is today. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy.

He leaves to cherish his many memories his wife: Anne Moody of Portageville, MO, his sons; Dennis "Denny"  (Janet) Moody II of Caruthersville, MO, and Mark (Tara) Moody of Portageville, MO. his grandchildren; Amanda (Jacob) Penn, Mikel Moody, Kennedy Howard, Madalaine Moody and a host of many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Bulldog Foundation
