Delores Sue Shankle

Delores Sue Shankle was born on November 25, 1942, in Conran MO. to the late Truey Mae Newton & Clarence Russell Roe. She passed away on Thursday February 8, 2024, at MO Delta Hospital Sikeston MO at the age of 81 years.

Preceding her in death was her parents, Truey Mae Newton and Clarence Russell Roe, also preceding her was one brother: R.L Newton. She was united in marriage on April 11, 1964, in Portageville MO to Carl Vance Shankle "Moon", he preceded her in death in March of 2023. In her earlier years Ms. Delores and her husband Carl loved following their son to catch his music adventures, she loved being with family and friends.  She was a member of the First Church of God in Portageville. In her earlier years she was a member of the Business & Professional Women's Club as well as a member of the Eastern Star. Her and husband enjoyed playing Pinochle back in the day. Delores also really enjoyed going to get her hair done, quilting, and playing solitaire.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son; Carl Shankle Jr. of Nashville, TN, one daughter; Carmen (Kevin) Lyons of New Madrid, MO, her grandchildren; Eric (Ashley) Holloway, Derek (Paige) Holloway, Evan Shankle, Jack Shankle and Beau Shankle, three great grandchildren; Jaden & Trevor Holloway, Ava Holloway, her Special Daughter in Law: Georgia Shankle Brasher of Nashville, TN and a host of many other relatives and friends.
