David "Paw" Thornton Was born January 29, 1943 in Dyess Ark. to Arnold Thornton and Opal Martin Thornton. he died Wednesday July 15, 2015 at his home in Wardell MO at the age of 72 years 5 months and 16 days. He was united in marriage to Eula Mae Thornton she survives of the home. Preceding David "Paw" Thornton in death, were his parents, Opal Martin Thornton & Arnold Thornton one brother Junior Thornton, Sister Betty Joe Bowen and one grandchild Greggory Hawk Callens. He was an avid North Pemiscot and Missouri Sate Fan and loved watching all his grandchildren in whatever sport they played in. He enjoyed hunting. and was a member of the VFW Post 7183 and was a member of Bokerton Baptist Church. He was a retired employee with Noranda Aluminum and a Veteran of the Army. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Eula Mae Thornton of Wardell, MO, two sons: Timothy (Wanda Jones) Rinehart of Wardell, MO, Jackie (Ruby) Rinehart of Portageville, MO, his two daughters: Diane (Scott) Gilboe of Wardell, MO, Susan (Brandon) Ledbetter of Dyersburg, TN and his fifteen grandchildren: Kristy Gilboe Swan, Michael Scott Gilboe, Brandon David Hounihan, Dillion Zachary Hounihan, Hailey Brooke Ledbetter, Payton Alexis Ledbetter Dalton James Rinehart, Meagan Nichole Rinehart, B.J Flippo, Casey Christine Forrester, Katlyn Laney Rinehart, Brett Hayes Rinehart, Jay Cooper, Courtney Cooper & Devon Payne and six great grandchildren: Mollie Grace & Mazie Kate Swan, Austin Kyle Shelly, Tristen Devon Tims, Ella Flippo & Karsyn Giuliana Ann Tims, and a host of many other relatives and friends.
