Darrell Eugene Hoxworth "Flash" was born on January 11, 1952, in Hayti, MO. to the late Helen Clendenin & Lewis Hoxworth. He passed away on January 13, 2023, at Saint Francis Medical Center Cape Girardeau MO at the age of 72 years and 2 days.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Helen Clendenin and Lewis Hoxworth, also preceding. Also preceding him. in death is his sister, Audrey Matheny

Darrell loved a lot of outdoor activities, he lived for farming the land and he was free spirited, he loved Rock & Roll and watching the Rams.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife; Kathy Hoxworth of Portageville, MO, his sons; Derek Hoxworth of Pensacola, Fl, Cory Hoxworth of Portageville, MO, his brother; Richard Hoxworth of St. Louis, MO, 2 sisters Lisa Rohan of Gainesville, FL, & Martha Smith of  Georgetown , TX, 5 grandchildren; Forrest Hoxworth, Austyn Hoxworth, Heidi Hoxworth, Hayden Hoxworth, Holden Hoxworth and a host of many other relatives and friends.
