Curtis Calvin "CC" Hankins was born on October 29, 1943, in Wardell, Missouri. to the late Marie Clara White Hankins & Melvin Curtis Hankins. He passed away on Sunday October 13, 2024, at Daybreak Nursing Center, Sikeston, MO, at the age of 80 years.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Marie Clara White Hankins and Melvin Curtis Hankins, his wife Linda Young Hankins, one daughter, Vicki Thomas and sister Ireeda Comer. He loved to hunt deer and talking to people, and spread joy and laughter to everyone.

He leaves to cherish his memories,  his special friend; Jeannette Sexton of Portageville, MO, two daughters: Sherry Neal (Robert) Wimauma of Florida, Joy (Bob) Rubley of Coldwater, Michigan, his granddaughter; Katie (Thomas) Sides of Caruthersville, MO, three brothers: Melvin Hankins of Tinley Park, Il, Jesse Hankins of Tinley Park, Il, Robert Hankins of Malden, MO, four sisters; Imogene Canoy of Chesterfield, MO, Mary Widitz of St. Louis, MO, Florence Wyatt of St. Louis, MO. Sheila Sprouse of Ft Myers, Florida, six grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
