Chester Phillips Was born October 22, 1925 in Portageville, MO to Lloyd and Addie (Saalwaechter) Phillips. He died Tuesday, September 03, 2013 at Gideon Care Center at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 12 days. He was united in marriage to Margaret (DeRousse) Phillips, June 18, 1971 in Hayward, MO. She survives of the home. He was a teller and manager at Farmer's Bank in Marston, MO where he served for 44 years, an avid golfer, little league coach and a member of the First Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, Lloyd and Addie (Saalwaechter) Phillips; brothers, Leonard, Lester and Freddie Phillips and sister, Barbara. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Margaret Phillips of Portageville, MO, two daughters, Sheila West and Sherry (Bill) Creech both of Ocoee, FL, two brothers: Billy Joe and Terry Phillips both of Portageville, MO; five sisters: Kathleen Adams of Monroe, LA, Peggy Decker of Berkley, MO, Camilla Russell and Virginia Russell both of West Franklin, IL, and Ginger Hankins, five grandchildren: Scott West, Susan Hembree, Stacey Williams, Jason Creech, and Jennifer Lomneck, 12 great-grandchildren: Scott, Cole and Addison West; Jake and Grayson Hembree, Jenna Bell, Justin and Jamie Williams, Austin and Emily Creech, and Kallie and Cooper Lomneck as well as a host of many other relatives and friends.
