Charlotte Louise (Stokes) Warren

Charlotte's Obituary

Charlotte passed away peacefully at home on December 9, 2024, at the age of 81 years old.  She was born to Bill and Vivian Stokes on June 8, 1943.   Charlotte grew up in Gideon, Missouri.  She married Jerry "Monk" Warren, of Portageville, on August 3, 1971.  Together they built a home centered around Christ and farming.  They were blessed with two sons, Jon (Heather) and Jarrett (Tara) Warren.  She loved her four grandchildren, Reed, Beau-Hunter, Max, and Brody, who lovingly called her their "Gigi."  She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family.

She was a member of the Portageville Church of Christ.  She was a devoted Christian and loved her church family and helping to serve others.  She was a wonderful cook, always baking treats and making homemade dishes to give to others.  She loved to visit with friends and was always fun to be around as her laugh was infectious.   She worked as an aide at Portageville Elementary School for many years.  She loved helping with early childhood classes and encouraging children to read.  She was loved by many.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry Warren, her two sons, Jon (Heather) Warren and Jarrett (Tara) Warren, and her four grandchildren, Reed, Beau-Hunter, Max, and Brody Warren all of Portageville, Missouri.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bill, mother, Vivian, two brothers, Dwight and Gary, and one sister, Kathleen.
