Charles William Walker was born, September 28, 1948, in Pheba, Mississipi to William Grace and Estella Ewing Walker.  He passed away on January 14, 2022, at Southgate Living Center at the age of 73 years, 3 months and 17 days.

Preceding him in death were his parents, William Grace and Estella Ewing Walker, also preceding was his siblings; Elzo Walker, Lilly Lyons, Ella Pearl Williams and Larry Walker.

Charles married the love of his life Carolyn Chandler in 1973 in Portageville, MO where she still resides.

Charles was a member of Pleasant Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church.  He worked for Noranda Aluminum for 20 years, retired as a cross county trucker and loved to be around family and friends.  He also served in the Vietnam War and is a Veteran of the Army.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His wife, Carolyn Walker of Portageville, MO.  Three Daughters: Coretta Abrams of San Antonio, TX, Erika Walker or Portageville, MO and Miyaka Walker of Columbia, MO.  Brothers; James Walker of West Point, MS and Dewayne Walker of West Point, MS.  Five sisters: Mary Walker of North Carolina, Laura Mae Bean of West Point, MS, Amare Townsend of West Point, MS, Dorothy Gipson of Chicago, IL and Shirley Fay Smith of Texas.  Four grandchildren: Jasmin Walker, Mikiya Walker, Jade Walker and Kyra Moss.  Three great grandchildren: Kylie Maxwell, Kaylin Grant, Blaize Donnelson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
