Charles Andrew Perkins was born on April 25, 1945 in Charleston, Missouri. to the late Gertrude Ellis Perkins & Martin Andrew Perkins. He passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at New Madrid living center in New Madrid, at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 20 days.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Gertrude Ellis Perkins & Martin Andrew Perkins, also preceding his siblings,  Patricia Smith and Rosemary Peardon

Charles was united in marriage on February 17, 1967 in Portageville, Missouri to Joyce Savat she survives of the home. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany. He was retired from the Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc. New Madrid Power Plant where he was instrumental with the maintenance of the plant. He loved to spend time with family and friends and enjoyed the outdoors or spending time in his shop repairing items.

Brothers; Tommy Perkins of Orange Park, Florida and Paul Perkins of New Madrid, Mo, his sisters; Barbara Quick of Chicago, Il and Gayle Bradford of Portageville, Mo.  Two grandchildren, Andrew (Kelsi) Smotherman and Connor (Ally) Smotherman and Great Grandchild Oliver James Smotherman,  and a host of many other relatives and friends.
