W as born June 4, 1923 in Marston, MO to John Haubold and Ivd Hawkins Haubold. He died October 31, 2016 at Dyersburg Regional Hospital, in Dyersburg. TN at the age of 93 years 4 months and 27 days.

P receding him in death was his wife of 75 years, Laura Jo Haubold, his parents, John & Ivd (Hawkins) Haubold and his beloved dog Max. In December of 1940 Mr. Charles enlisted into the United States Army serving 4 years in service in the Normandy & Northern France battle before he was discharged in 1944 with a Purple Heart & 3 Bronze hearts. He was employed as Sales Manager by McCrate Equipment Company for 40 years. He was a member of St Eustachius Catholic Church where he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign War. He loved hunting, fishing and shooting the breeze with friends.

H e leaves to cherish his memories: two sons: John (Susan) Haubold of Jackson, TN and Charles (Teresa) Haubold of Cape Girardeau, MO, one daughter, JoAnne Haubold of Portageville, MO, two grandchildren: Heather Haubold and Kelly (Chris) Kasten, four great grandchildren: Parker, Spencer, Fletcher Mitten & Calla Kasten and a host of many other relatives and friends.
