Carroll Joyce Penrod

W as born March 21, 1942 in JY, Missouri to Mary Dunn Crumley & Huey A. Crumley. She passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 at her home in Portageville at the age of 78 years 5 months and 7 days.

S he was united in marriage to Earnest Penrod on September 9, 1961 in Portageville MO, he preceded her in death on October 10, 2010 also preceding her in death was her parents, Mary (Dunn) and Huey A. Crumley,  her brother,  Jackie Crumley Sr. She was of Baptist faith and a member of the Hayward Baptist Church, she had worked at the  Portageville Elementary School as a math teacher but retired at SRG Global.

S he leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Earnest Penrod of Portageville, Mo and Shawn (Susie) Penrod of

Hardin, Ky, her brothers, Jim Crumley of Spencer, Indiana and James Crumley of Manchester, Missouri, one sister,

Paulette Combs and her husband Joe of Bradleyville, MO, her grandchildren, Mollie Penrod, Jonathon Sexton,

Christopher (Tiffany) Sexton, 5 great-grandchildren, Jayci, Thesius, Gabriel, Derrika and Lilly and a host of many

other relatives and friends also special friends and caregivers, Rita Inman and Mike Bates.

VISITATION: (Family Gathering  Only)

Wednesday September 2, 2020 @ Delisle Funeral Home from      5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

1:00 P.M. at Hayward Baptist Church
