Carroll LeSieur Was born Sept. 14, 1942 in Portageville, MO to Sylvania Phillips LeSieur and Lovel LeSieur. He died Friday February 6, 2009 at Southeast Hospital, in Cape Girardeau, Mo at the age of 66 years, 4 months and 22 days. He was united in marriage to Martha Little on April 30, 1971 in New Madrid, MO, she survives of the home. Preceding him in death, were his parents, Sylvania Phillips LeSieur & Lovel LeSieur. He was retired from the National Guard after 40 years of service in the 1140 Engineering Battalion -Charlie Company. He was Crew Chief of the New Madrid County Ambulance Service Portageville Unit and a member of the Portageville Fire Department with 38 years of service. Carroll was a member of the Portageville Booster Club, Owner/Operator of Crafton & LeSieur Home Repair, an avid hunter, coached girl's softball teams and of the Baptist faith. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Martha LeSieur of the home in Portageville, Mo. Two Daughters and son-in-law: Teri (Donney) Benthal of Portageville, Mo, & Kim (Austin) DeLisle of Portageville, MO Five Sisters:, Mildred (Bob) Robbins of Portageville, MO, Pansy Stafford of Portageville, MO, Brenda (Everett) Daugherty of Portageville MO, Scherry (Carl) Joffe of Biloxi, MS, Gail (Brian) Magruder of Castle Rock, CO. One Brother: Fred (Rene Rone ) LeSieur of San Antonio, TX Four Grand Children: Nathan Chastain, Christopher DeLisle, Meridyth Benthal & Trey Benthal, and a host of other relatives and friends.
