CAROLYN SUE BROWN

W as born on Feb. 1, 1944 in  East Prairie to the late Brigham Carden and Rachel (Threlkeld) Carden.  She passed away peacefully at her home on Friday; December 16, 2022 in Jackson, MO at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 15 days.

P receding her in death were her parents, her brothers; Robert Floyd Carden & Norval Carden, her sister, Rosemary Fields

S he was united in marriage on November 30, 1963 to the love of her life Larry Brown.

Carolyn was very faith driven she loved listening to gospel music daily, she attended church at the Assembly of God in Portageville, MO and Christ Church of the Heartland in Cape Girardeau, MO, she also loved to camp.  She was always taking care of others she was the caregiver of the family and she loved her family get togethers.

S he leaves to cherish her many memories her husband of 59 years, Larry Brown of Jackson, MO, her son, Gregory (Katherine) Brown of Jackson, MO, daughters; Michelle (Brian) Wendt of Hillsboro, MO, Rachel Brown of Jackson, MO, her brothers; Calvin Carden of Portageville, MO, Eugene Carden of Union City , TN, sisters; Marie Arnold of Westland, MI, Ruth Stewart of Toledo, Ohio, Wanda Bee Morgan of Clinton, OK, Doris Parnell of Portageville, MO, Brenda Sides of Caruthersville, MO, 9 Grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren
